Whether you have recently installed new carpeting, remodeled a kitchen, or completed another major home improvement project, you likely are left with a lot of things that need to be discarded. While Canada's waste production has increased over the years, StatCan.gc.ca says that between 2000 and 2004, recycling efforts kept two-thirds of that waste from landfills.
